And the drive begins! Here we are on Center Street... not too far from home!
The first thing that we did when we got to Manti was stake out a spot to watch the Mormon Miracle Pageant. We were only about 20 rows back and right in the middle... not too shabby in an area that seats 14,500!!
Here is the set without any people... SO many chairs, plus room for blankets!
Sitting just to the side of us was an ADORABLE little guy who was wearing his big sister's pink hoodie. Needless to say, I wanted to take him home, but we didn't think that Sam's (that was his name) parents would like that very much.
This one I took on the car ride back to the apartment we stayed in with Kristopher's family in Ephraim a few blocks aways from the ball field. I had lots of time to take the picture because it took forever to get out of the traffic from the pageant!
Before we went to the temple on Saturday morning we went to the ballpark and caught Kelli Joe's first game of the morning.
After the game, we went to a session at the temple, where we ran into Kristopher's ex-girlfriend Jill from high school! We visited for a bit before taking some pictures and heading back to the ball field.
Here we are in the obscene heat watching Kiri's game... They were up 6-0 and ended up having a rough inning and gave up 7 runs for the loss. Sad for the team, happy for me and my hot sweaty self.
