Enjoying some Christmas Presents
This Christmas we were lucky enough to receive both a pressure cooker, and 2 grills! I have been wanting both for a while now, and I am already going to town making dinner. (I guess Kristopher's mom and my brother ... or my mom, lol) both got the same idea with the grills, and I couldn't be more excited! Here are some pictures of us enjoying the barbecue ribs I made in the pressure cooker in about 50 minutes from start to finish. They could have been a little more tender if I had left them in the pressure cooker longer (they were only in for about 20 minutes!) but I was getting hungry so I took them out so that I could let them soak up the barbecue sauce with a little brown sugar for a while. Last night I made quesadillas on the grill and it was so fast and so good! Bring on the pancakes, Swedish pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, quesadillas and whatever else I can think of! These are going to keep me busy for a while!

wow! I didn't know you could do all that with a pressure cooker. I always thought it was just for canning. Oh, and I hate wearing hats too, so when I found the one in that picture, I bought 2 of them at Target 3 years ago (Love that store!) It's the only one I'll wear. Maybe you could find it on ebay? Thanks for all the comments! Hope you had an awesome vacation!
