Thanks Sarah... you always keep me on track with my posts!
Things have been pretty interesting the past couple of weeks with lots going on. The semester is wrapping up and projects are going to be due soon and finals are looming so it has been a little bit busy for both Kristopher and I gearing up for all of that. I have also been teaching piano lessons in Lehi since the beginning of the semester so that has been keeping me busy too. And to top it all of things have been busy at work with the passing of our director and my boss moving to another job in the department. I am hoping that things calm down soon!
In other news, I turned in my graduation application a few weeks ago. So I guess they think I am far enough along in my education to send me out into the real world soon. =) I was really surprised how easy it was. To apply for college you have to do this that and the other thing, but to graduate you just march yourself over to the administration building and put down your $15 and you are good to go. Kinda weird... but, after the academic "counseling" at GHS I would think that I would be used to this kind of not-so-guidance. Everyone cross your fingers that I actually finished everything that I was supposed to so that I can actually graduate! August, here we come!
Another thing that has been really weird that has been going on lately is that I have the weirdest hives on my hands, feet, and other random places (but mostly on my arms, tummy, and back, though of those 3 never at the same time). The ones on my feet are sooo painful. It feels like walking on rocks. They come and they go... I never know when they are going to come back. BUT, in the past couple of days I have been thinking that it might be dairy related. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and she said it was stress, but I think that is a bunch of crap. But on Friday night I had a milkshake and in the morning I woke up with hives on my back. Last night I had a little cheese on my dinner (Olive Garden... yummm) and woke up with hives all up and down my arms. They faded away during the day, but with dinner we had the MOST delicious crepes with strawberries and whipped creme and the hives on my arms came right back. So that is what I am thinking it is. Do any of you guys have any experiences with allergies that have developed one day?
So the next fun thing is that last night I was able to go out to dinner and to the Young Women's General Broadcast with my mom, sister, and some people from my mom's ward. We hit up Olive Garden and then headed up to Temple Square. Unfortunately we were a tad bit on the late side and ended up missing getting into the Conference Center, so we headed across the street to watch at the Tabernacle. It was disappointing to have traveled so far and fought the crowds and everything just to have to watch it on a screen, but it was so great to be able to watch it with my sister and my mom (10 points for mom for being a trooper when she wasn't feeling well). And even though I technically am not a young women, mother, or leader, the meeting was excellent and I really recommend that everyone read the talks in the Conference edition when it comes out!
Emily Rogers, McKell, Megan and Mom waiting in line to not get into the conference center.
Megan, Mom, and Me. Check out how close we were to getting in! Foiled!!

You and your sisters and mom are so cute! That stinks you didn't get in! At least you had a fun girls-night-out (I don't know if that's supposed to be hyphenated or not). Anyway, I'm sorry about your hives. I would say it's dairy related if you've noticed that trend. I would die-- I love dairy products! It was fun to go VTing today. You're fun to go with! I'm going to keep us together as long as possible! haha! Good job Sarah for keeping you on top of your posts! Good luck finishing out the semester!
I'm so sorry about your hives! I started getting some after having Claire, and I still get them every once in a while. I think they're actually heat related. Which is weird since I've never had them before either. I've heard some people develop new allergies during or after pregnancy. So... BriAnna? :)
