Really?

Last night I got the baking bug. Probably because it is finals, my house was already somewhat in order, and dinner was already made, and I needed something to do besides study. I headed out to pick up Kristopher from school and decided to stop at Reams on my way up the diagonal to get what I needed. It was 7:40, so imagine my surprise when I drove up and found out they were closed. Closed?! So off to Wal-Mart, against my will, I went.
Wal-Mart is a fun little place good for cheap prices and people watching. But what little enjoyment I had with going to Wal-Mart ended the day they stopped carrying garlic from Gilroy in favor of some brand from Florida. No good, no good.
I try to limit the time I spend there, mostly because it makes me grumpy. Things that make me grumpy include rude people in the parking lot, commercials for McDonald's played over the loudspeaker, workers that answer my question with 3-5 words without looking at me, and the lines that are always at the check stands unless it is 9 am.
Someday I will find the perfect Wal-Mart, where I have a reserved spot in front of the doors, my favorite music will be played over the loudspeaker without interruption, everything I need will always be stocked without a problem, anything I can't find will be brought to me before I even ask someone to help me find it, and I will have a fast pass like at Disneyland for the registers. Ahhh, happiness.
Until then, Wal_Mart is not my friend.

Yeah my initial response too was, "I think it's called Target!" Good luck with finals!

NO, no. Target sucks. Well, mainly because of their return policy. But there's been a lot of drama with Reams lately...something about the distributor wanting to buy them out but the wouldn't sell so the distributor stopped bringing them food. We have sadly had to switch to Macey's. So I feel your Reams frustration.
