15 weeks!

Yay 15 weeks! This week our baby is the size of an apple and is 4 inches long! It can sense light, even though the eyelids are still fused shut, but apparently if I shine a flashlight onto my belly, it will move away from the light. Also, it can taste! It's legs are growing longer than the arms and everything is getting more proportionate. Only a few more weeks to half way!

In an effort to better document this whole pregnancy thing I am going to include pictures of my growing walrusness. So here I am, after a long day of work, cleaning, and packing looking chunky. Someone tell me when I actually start looking pregnant and not just puffy in these pictures as we go along. So far all I know is my pants don't fit =)

You should invest in what Motherhood Maternity calls a 'belly band'. It SAVED MY LIFE when I was preggers with Evie. It's a lycra band that you wear under your shirt and on the top 1/2 of your pants, so you can wear your pants unbuttoned, unzipped, etc and still wear your non maternity pants. If it peeks out, it just looks like an undershirt. I still use mine with a few pants that my waistline is still waiting to fit into :)

I remember the point where I tried elastic bands to keep my pants on but not button them. Good luck with everything. Halfway done feels so good and then you will be able to feel baby move!

Ha-I SO know what you mean. I have a hard time convincing myself that there is a baby in my belly. Everyone keeps telling me I'm starting to show, but I look at myself and just feel like I have a gut. My jeans don't fit either, so I wear anything stretchy, but that belly band sounds pretty cool! You really look great!

You look great BriAnna! I totally know what you mean about the pants not fitting, it's an awkward time. Are you guys going to find out what you're having?

Cute prego pic! I always love when people see me and can assume I am pregnant! It is not fun when you are in the beginning because you are always wondering if people are just thinking you are gaining weight, or maybe just I worry about that! Haha, you look great!
