A funny thing happened today.
At about 4:15 I was getting mildly curious as to what number in line to be induced I was, but I didn't want to be "that girl" who is totally annoying and so I didn't know if I should call to find out or not. Mom said that when you are overdue, you have license to be annoying. =) So, I called over to the hospital to check things out, and they told me that I wasn't even on the schedule. This, of course, was not funny. I am sure the mixup happened sometime between deciding on which day to go with yada yada yada. So, she put me back on the schedule, but told me that I was the 3rd to be on call. (The first call goes out around 7 am and then they work on the list from there). I asked if there was any way that I could be moved up at all, since I was never supposed to be taken off in the first place, and the nice nurse was able to move me up to the 1st on call. (She also said that even if I hadn't been taken off in the first place, the soonest spot I could have was 1st on call.) Crisis averted. Then, a few hours later, another nurse called and told me not to worry about being on call at all, but that I should plan to check in at 7am! So, off we go to the hospital tomorrow morning!!!!
