The nice nurse just checked me again, and it looks like I am nearly almost dilated!! There's just a tiny little chunk at the top that needs to go away, so she is going to check again in about 45 minutes from now, and if it's gone, it's time to push!! We will need to check with the doctor and she may have me sit tight for another hour to let the baby move down a little without pushing, but in that case we would start pushing in a little over an hour and a half. This is going so much faster than I had prepared myself for!! Hopefully pushing goes as smoothly!

So if my calculations are correct, 45 minutes from when this was posted is up. So...WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?!?! AHHH!!! I have to go take my Independent Study Final today but I don't want to leave the house yet...this is too exciting!!!!! Good luck!!!!!
You are SO lucky this is all going so fast for you. 2 1/2 days of labor was NOT fun. But epidurals are heaven sent!!

This is weird to say, but I'M JEALOUS!! I wish I were in your position right now, but alas, 5 more weeks. I hope all goes well. Post ASAP and let us all know how things go!
