1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Yes, and I have a few supplemental insurance policies to prove it =)
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Yes
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? I was way excited! I tested negative a few tests in a row, but I was so late that we went in to the lab to be tested in case something was wacky, and we read the results together there at the lab, printed on a piece of paper.
4. HOW OLD WERE YOU? 20, 21 when I delivered.
5. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? BYU Lab Pregnancy test.
6. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? We found out together.
7. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Yes! I thought about not finding out, but in the end I decided I just couldn't! I had to know!!
8. DUE DATE? 01/05/09
9. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? None!! Kristopher was sick more than I was!
10. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Just more of the things I always love. Sugar... yum...
11. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? Shoe putting on. Totally more work than it was worth. That, and my job.
12. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? Girl.
13. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? No way! Abby fits so perfectly into our family.
14. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? Something like 35. I didn't watch too closely.
15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Yes! So many people have been so generous. We have been so blessed.
16. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I have known about the showers I have had, but so many people have offered to give us things and have given gifts, and that has been a wonderful surprise!
17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? They watched me a little close for Trisomy 18, but everything ended up being totally fine.
18. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? A.F., UT
19. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? Just short of 8 hours. Not a bad day's work!
20. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Kristopher!
21. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Kristopher, the nurses, and BARELY the doctor. She almost missed it! It only took 1 push after she got there.
22. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural
23. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Yes, I was not happy after the pit kicked in, but I was much happier post epidural!
25. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN? 01/13
26. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Abigail Kate. We flipped a coin for her middle name (I didn't want to give her one) and I lost the coin toss. 4 times in a row.
27. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY? 3 weeks, 2 days =)
