I hit the jackpot this weekend... I have started working on my couponing skills, and made my first successful trip on Wednesday. Then, Friday afternoon we surprised Megan for her birthday and took her to Midway to spend the night with cousins and grandma and grandpa at grandma and grandpa's timeshare. We followed up the fun sleepover with shopping at the outlets in Park City on Saturday. Here's how it all breaks down:
Total full retail price (including tax) of the above items
$444.11
Amount that actually left my bank account
$65.68
That means I saved a whopping $378.43. In one day!! I paid 14% of the original prices. The Columbia snowsuits were such an amazing deal, I bought them in 3T AND size 6. They were originally $130 and $140, and I got them for $14 each. I got each of Kristopher's shirts for $5 or less at Areopostale, Abby's pink jogging suit and heart hoodie at The Children's Place for $3 a piece, and the little tiny baby jeans for $5 at Old Navy- probably the worst deal of the day, if you can even call it that.
My new job is saving money. I like it.

Can you shop for me! :)
It's so hard to stop, though! I walked away with my bank account $200 lighter after my trip to Park City. One day I'll tally up all the savings :)
It does make me miss Gilroy, though. How easy was it to just drive five mins across town?
Nothing feels better than a good deal! When I go shopping for deals, I always tell Nate how much I saved rather than what I spent...makes it all that much sweeter!
We were there on Saturday as well! I swear we bought half of the Children's Place! There were such good deals!
What coupons are you using for this stuff? Where are you finding them? I only do grocery coupons at the moment but would like to learn your mad skills too...
ok, i LOVE that heart hoodie.
if they had it in my size, i would rock it.
That is amazing. I love Park City outlets. I really love the jeans with the adorable polka dot belt.
