Abby.

Today my little baby turned 6 months old. Which is half a year. She is quickly moving from baby to little girl. She cracks me up with her funny cough laugh that she uses particularly to get someone's attention and with her awesome arm/leg workouts she does religiously. She definitely knows her momma and gives HUGE smiles to her dad when he gets home every night. She's best buds with Auntie Meg (read: Megan, who is now known as Meg, among other names such as Mufasssssaaaaa) and Uncle Spencer. Since we spend so much time at my parent's for piano lessons, she's pretty good buds with Gramma and Granpa Livingston (BAH!!) too. We have entered a new era recently, with Abby near sitting up (she can do a few seconds at a time up to about half a minute) as well as figuring out the mechanics of her diaper, which she pulled off herself the other morning. Little stink. But, she cracks us up and we love her SO much.

After work Abby and her dad had a little date to go pick her out a fun toy for her birthday. So as the sun was setting we snapped this picture of her with her new friend.

For comparison's sake, her is Abby bundled up in the middle of the yucky winter ready to leave the hospital to go home. Note the placement of the carseat label over the head rest, and her tiny squishy face.
Here she is today, clinging to her new friend. She was so tired from shopping that she fell asleep on the way home. She is, of course, her father's daughter and her loooonnng legs are constantly poking out the edge of her carseat. She's such a sweetheart and we are excited for the next 6 months of her life!
