This past Friday was Kristopher's 23rd birthday! I decorated the apartment as fast as I could before Kristopher got home from work so he could be surprised when he got home. I ran out of tape, so I had to run over to Sara's house, and she was a lifesaver! It would have looked pretty stupid only half done!

Kristopher got to open presents finally when he came home... he got a few books he wanted, plus some shoelaces for his church shoes (VERY hard to find!) and some pens. Talk about fun!

After presents, we headed up to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with some of Kristopher's friends that we hadn't seen in a while. When it was time for Kristopher to celebrate his birthday at the restaurant, the waitress brought over this saddle and Kristopher hopped right on. We had lots of fun catching up with friends and eating some of the best ribs and steak in Utah.

Bryant and Zach enjoying dinner.

After dinner, we made a trip to Ikea just for kicks, and then over to my parent's house to drop some books off to my dad and visit. My mom and I had to keep ourselves entertained while the boys were playing a large game of keep-away in the living room.

And finally, to wrap up the birthday fun, we had dinner at Kristopher's parent's house where Kristopher blew out all of his candles in one try.

Happy birthday Kristopher! I love you very much and I hope that you have a very fabulous year!!
