1 month (plus a few days...)

Abigail. 1 day old.

Abigail. 1 month and 1 day old.
I can't believe it has already been a month!! Abby is getting bigger and bigger everyday! When we got back from St. George, Kristopher said that he could tell that she had grown even over the 2 days. Time really does fly, and she is growing like a weed! She is definitely getting heavier, although she is still pretty skinny since she is so long. She is measuring in at 24 inches, as near as I can tell. She makes the sweetest little faces at us, and is starting to smile more and more. We can't wait until she starts laughing! Here's what Abby is up to:
-she doesn't mind the tub too much, so long as there is enough water to keep her warm. She doesn't fuss too much, and is happy getting her hair washed.
-Abby has discovered her fingers! More and more I catch her with her fingers all spread out and her palm over the top of her binky. I'm not sure why, maybe she is just curious what is in her month! Sometimes she does a spit/pull out combo and she can launch that thing pretty far.
-She is a wonderful eater! In the last 2 weeks we have managed to switch from 2 hour feedings to 4 hour feedings. She is like clockwork! And 4 hours is so nice because it makes going out of the house just that much easier. She also takes a bottle when needed like a champ.
-Abby has a funny little stage sometime between 8 and 11, depending on the day, when she wants attention but doesn't want to be held. She is happiest if we set her on a blanket and leave her to wiggle on her own. If you pick her up, she's not going to like it! She likes her space for a little while, and then she is happy to go to bed and sleep the night away.
-Abby is a happy little camper in the morning. She loves to look around and cat nap. She makes some pretty cute faces in the morning!

Overall Abby is doing so well! She isn't fussy and she's not spitty, both of which I appreciate! She has been having fun hanging out and getting loved. We are so happy that she is a part of our family... we don't know what we would do without her!

We love you Abigail Kate!!

Aria does the hand on the pacifier thing too! Sometimes she'll grab it and pull it out, but doesn't know how to put it back in her mouth. So I've gotta stick it back in there. :)

Sounds like she's doing great! I can't wait to meet her when we're in Utah!!!
