Why is it that when you make a cup of noodles, and you fill it way full with water, but put it on a plate, it doesn't spill over? But that if you forget the plate, it does 100% of the time? And why is it that if you fill it wayyyy under the fill line so far that you are sure that it won't spill over, it always does?
Life's greatest mysteries.
